If you plan to travel at least twice in a year, Multitrip is the way to go.

And often, if a trip lasts more than 18 days, it's also worth it because the price is usually more convenient and it also remains valid for future trips.

It's a plan that allows unlimited travel for one year, as long as each trip is no longer than 30, 60 or 90 days (depending on the plan).

No. You buy it once and you're covered for a full year.

A long-stay trip is one that lasts more than 3 months: you leave the country of residence and don't return for at least 3 months.

PAX can be valid for a maximum of 12 consecutive months outside the country.

Because PAX is designed for the unexpected during a trip: emergencies, urgencies and real situations that need quick resolution when you're far from home.

It's not a service for long treatments, routine medicine or permanent follow-up. Simply put: PAX accompanies the traveler, it doesn't replace a healthcare system.

And something key: many "exclusions" can be included if you purchase the corresponding upgrade (and it's reflected in the voucher).

Some things are excluded by default because they involve more risk or another type of coverage, but they're easily solved: with an upgrade.

What is a pre-existing condition?

These are illnesses or conditions that already existed before traveling, although often the person didn't even know.

Why do pre-existing conditions have a different limit?

Because traveler assistance is not health insurance. You don't pay every month: it's only contracted for the trip period. And it doesn't require prior medical declaration.

That's why pre-existing conditions have sublimits: they're enough to address the emergency, stabilize the person and, if needed, accompany the return home.

✅ All PAX plans include a sublimit for pre-existing conditions for acute and sudden events. And there's a Pre-existing Conditions Upgrade to increase that amount.

✅ Amateur and low-risk sports: usually covered (according to plan).

🚫 Extreme sports / high risk / competition or professional: not included by default.

Items like glasses, hearing aids, wheelchairs, crutches or similar are usually considered personal use or long-term treatment.

Events such as war, terrorism, riots, nuclear radiation or extraordinary catastrophes are excluded.
